Understand why leads are accepted, rejected, duplicated, capped, or routed to specific buyers.
How routing decisions happen
Pingtree evaluates the submitted lead against campaign rules, buyer rules, caps, operating settings, duplicate checks, and endpoint responses before assigning a final outcome.
Why a lead may not reach a buyer
Most routing issues come from one of a few operational causes.
- The lead is missing a required field or has an invalid field format.
- A campaign or buyer filter rejected the lead.
- A cap, schedule, or buyer status prevented delivery.
- The buyer endpoint timed out or returned a rejection response.
- The lead matched duplicate detection rules.
